Success for Hampshire Clubs
Congratulations go to Stash Blades for retaining their place in National Premier 1 at a tense play-off weekend in Loughborough on 22 and 23 May 2010. They lost their first of 3 games over the weekend against Premier League 2 runners-up Leyton but went on to beat their Premier 1 rivals The Downs and on a 'winner takes all' game beat Thoroughbreds, who finished 3rd in Premier 2, in a game which saw them lose an 8 goal lead but come back to win by 4.
Congratulations also go to Just A Head from Portsmouth who won through a 21 team play-off to take their place in the newly formed for 2010-2011 National Premier Division 3.

Back the Bid!

Netball is played by 1 million women and girls a week in the UK, and is one of the most popular female team games in the world being played in over 70 countries, but despite this popularity - and being a regular sport in the Commonwealth Games - it has never featured in the Olympics.
