Hampshire Junior League 2020/2021

Hampshire Junior League Update: (28.09.2020)

Thank you all for replying re your teams entering the Hampshire Junior League.

Sorry that we cannot accept any new clubs this season. As you can imagine with the continual changes happening it is very difficult and we want to get the girls on the court safely ASAP.

I have attached a formal entry form which I would very much appreciate returned by Monday 5th October when I can complete the directory and send you all the playing schedule.

The league will be played in full and start on Saturday 17th October.

If any team has not sent their OPT in form then can they return this at the same time please as this is essential before a team can play.

Last season teams were given a refund to cover games lost or number played. Hampshire need to cover the cost of the hall and therefore there is a graduated costing dependent on the number of teams in a section.

Further Details

1. All games will be played at Testlands Hub, a full risk assessment has been completed and cleared to hold indoor matches. Entrance will be by the front door and exit will be by the fire exit. Face masks are to be worn by all whilst entering the building and in any part of the building when not in the sports hall. The NHS QR code to be scanned if you have the NHS app.

2. Teams will not play every week and as much as possible ages have been split

3. All teams will need to scan in on the Hampshire code which will be sent to all teams and displayed at the venue.

4. Do not arrive early for fixtures to avoid any crowding. All teams will enter, play and leave quickly

5.No team can consist of more than 10 players

6. Players will need to bring with them , a face mask, a drink bottle clearly named, hand sanitiser

7. Teams will need a matchball, more than 1 set of bibs and covid kit to include wipes to clean the ball, face covering hand sanitiser.

8.  There will be NO spectators so the parents must drop the players and wait in their car. There is a possibility that the games might be screened but will keep you up to date with this.
