Talent

Are you a talented player?
Are you a teacher or a coach of a talented player?

The National Competition Framework for Young people provides opportunities for all players to develop. Talented players need to play regularly for a Netball club. This develops their sports specific skills and competition play.

Clubs and schools are invited to send players to selection days for the U14 and U16 partnership academies. Players selected for the academy are then selected to attend the Regional Talent Development programme by the Regional Head Scout. The South and South West regions work together delivering the regional Extension Centre Programme, one of which is held in Winchester delivered by Jan Crabtree (Team Bath coach). Extension Centre players are invited to attend National screening days for the England Squads.

Emily Loftus, the Netball Development Officer can provide details of local clubs and partnership academy selection days. The Regional Head Scout will provide selected players details of TDP and Extension Centres.
