Affiliations 2011/12

The England Netball fees for 2011/12 are now available to download on the EN Membership page

There is no official ‘cut-off’ dates for Clubs that affiliate online, and pay direct to EN. Clubs will be able to affiliate their players online for the 11/12 season at any time. The 'LIVE' date for 11/12 season will be Monday 4 July 2011 at 10.00am.

The following should be noted to ensure eligibility for competitions, and to ensure participants receive their magazines on time:

  • To register for our EN competitions and events starting in September, participants must be affiliated and paid by 2 September 2011 for affiliating manually via County, for those clubs submitting membership online the date is 9 September 2011. After this first return, Clubs may continue to affiliate their players online at anytime. To be eligible for any EN competition or event, participants must be affiliated and fees paid to EN no less than four days before the EN competition or event
  • To ensure that full Liability and Personal Accident Insurance Cover for a participant is activated for any ‘authorised and recognised’ netballing activity, the participant must ensure that they are affiliated and fees paid to EN. After 1 September 2011 a participant will not receive any Liability or Personal Accident Insurance Cover until the 11/12 affiliation is activated and fees paid.

If you require confirmation of your Secure Login and Password, please use the Password Reminder function on the website, go to http://om.englandnetball.co.uk/script/forgottenpassword.asp  or contact the Membership Dept direct on 01462 442344.

Please remember that players are not affiliated and therefore not insured to participate in any ‘recognised or authorised’ netballing activity until their payment has been processed by either England Netball or your County Netball Association, if applicable.

Here are some key dates for the commencement of next year's affiliation:

  • 6 June: Online affiliations for 10/11 ‘temporarily suspended’ in order for Counties & Regions to update their fees for 11/12. If clubs need to affiliate anyone for 10/11, they should contact the EN Membership Dept direct on 01462 442344 or email affiliations@englandnetball.co.uk
  • 10 June: Last dates for clubs to inform EN of intention to affiliate ‘online’ for 11/12. Clubs to notify us by contacting the EN Membership Dept on 01462 442344 or email lynnj@englandnetball.co.uk with subject heading ‘ONLINE 11/12’. If Clubs have already opted for the ‘Online’ affiliations previously, we have assumed that they will continue to go online
  • 4 July: Online affiliations begin for 11/12 at 10.00am.

Membership Cards

From 11/12 season, EN will be generating ‘downloadable’ membership cards so that each individual, via the Individual Login Area will be able to generate their own membership card, once their membership has been paid. Alternatively, the Club Secretary / Affiliations Contact will also be able to generate the ‘downloadable’ membership card via the Club Login Area.  This process is currently in the ‘testing phase’ and EN will be able to provide more details as to ‘how’ when this is complete. Please make sure when adding / amending data to provide the full address including postcode, contact telephone numbers and email address.  Please note : if a full address, including postcode is not provided, the netball magazines will automatically be sent to each Club Secretary / Affiliations Contact.

England Netball are making some further system improvements to the Online Membership process and will update the downloadable Online User Guide, available here http://www.englandnetball.co.uk/Membership/  when these have been fully tested and implemented into our Website.

Affiliation

Affiliation and Insurance - update 23/01/09

The statement below has been issued by Paul Clark, CEO of England Netball:

A fundamental part of England Netball is the package and benefits it offers to affiliated members, in particular insurance. With the growth of unaffiliated leagues across the country, it is a good time to remind everybody how our members insurance is affected if they participate in unaffiliated netball. Fully affiliated members enjoy third party Liability insurance cover and Gold Personal Accident cover whilst taking part in England Netball approved activity including affiliated Leagues. As stated in the England Netball Insurance FAQs, which are available to download from the Online Members Area. Members who participate in any unaffiliated Leagues or Clubs will have their Personal Accident Insurance cover reduced from Gold to Silver.

To affiliate to England Netball, Netball South and Hampshire Netball Association each club/team needs to go onto the England Netball website, select 'online affiliations' where you will see step by step guidelines including contact details if you get stuck or have any questions.
